It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
It was too dark and rainy to get any. :(

I need some suggestions... I desperately need some fog lights because where I work, I'm dealing with it 3-5 days a week especially in the winter. I have an older model ARB bumper with no fog light cut outs, only blinker cut outs where I removed the blinker housing. The blinker housing screwed to the backside of the bumper, if that makes sense. So there is no real brackets or place where I could mount a lot of these after market mounts. I'm not opposed to cutting the current hole bigger to fit something else. I also don't want to spend $400 on rigid lights, as nice as they are.

If you are able to cut the blinker hole bigger, you would have a lot more options for lights. The Rigid Duallys in amber (I would go amber if you encounter fog on regular basis) are about $200 for flush mount https://smile.amazon.com/Rigid-Indu...0877&sr=8-1&keywords=rigid+dually+amber+flush or they also have regular mount that run about $150. I think they are a 3"x3" size. If you do not want to break the powdercoat on the ARB, get some measurements of the current openings and we can do some googling to see what is out there that would fit. Might not mount up to the current mounting plates, but a bracket could be made probably fairly easily.

Related to the post above, are cheap ebay/Amazon LEDs worth it? Anyone have experience with some of the "cheaper" companies? I just bought some brackets for ditch lights and bed lights, and I would like to put some 18w 3x3 pods on there. I see you posted some lights made by rigid, but those are 10x as much as some of the other options out there. If the difference in quality justifies the difference in price, I am willing to pay it, but don't want to pay for a name brand.

I had one 20" light bar that had condensation. I bought another for $70, and plan on resealing it with silicon before I mount it. I also have some ditch lights, that arent mounted. I dont have high hopes, but will see..

I think the cheaper ones are all pretty much made in the same factories in china. I have seen lots of posts here about them. I have seen complaints about the hardware oxidizing or chipping, condensation issues, and stuff like that. But if the light is a small fraction of the Rigids and you plan on putting them in a location where they would be fairly protected from weather, might as well go for it. I think with these lights it really seems to be a "you get what you pay for" type, but if you buy a $30 set of lights and they last for 4 years, that aint bad in my opinion.

I originally bought these for my demello: https://smile.amazon.com/Rigid-Indu...1475251245&sr=8-1&keywords=rigid+dually+amber but they wouldn't fit (by about 1/8"), so I had to send them back. I ended up buying a set of rugged ridge lights with amber covers. They fit well in the demello, but I can't adjust them down far enough to be useful fog lights and since they are flood pattern, there really isn't a cutoff and the light gets thrown all over everything in front of me. I just leave them off for now. Eventually I will figure out a bracket to mount them elsewhere, but for now they just sit in the bumper.

I ended up rolling the dice on these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IY3YLCI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. Hopefully they work well. If not, welp, I'm out $20. I will try these as the ditch lights first (because the wiring will be a bit simpler), and if they work well I will buy another pair for my bed lights. If they suck, I will have to step up to Rigid or Caliraised or whatever I get convinced to buy on here.

4.5 stars on Amazon with over 500 reviews so for $20 even if they aren't great, they are at a great price. Hopefully they will mount up without too much trouble for you.

Those are the exact ones I have sitting, for my ditch lights. Good luck and let me know how they work

I hope so too. Mounting and wiring seems very straight forward and easy. So easy I will probably get it done before I put my lift on. I will let you know how they work out.

I didn't have class last night, so I was tempted to hit up @fatfurious2 to see if I could head over to his place and have him help me throw the lift on.

I'm just afraid that if I used the flush mounts, my lights would face out like this \_/ instead of |_| if that makes sense. Also, I'd have to mount them sideways because of the existing holes.

Also, they are 5.5 long and 2 inches wide with round ends. Not corners.

Yeh the rain is really what stopped me from hitting you up. I may join you all on 10/8. It shouldn't take very long at all, I just need to set a concrete time to get it done, otherwise I will procrastinate (like I have been doing), and it will never get done. That's pretty much how I operate. Either spur of the moment spontaneous or planned well in advance. No middle ground for me.
