I am curious about this but have no idea what’s going on. What kind of “plate” was that and what made it fly that far?

 

This needs to be on some of the trucks out here. Not sure I get the block lift/low profile tire look for trucks, but...to each their own!

 

Claim they are ornamental and they cannot say anything since they are an ornament to something that was aftermarket installed and didn't come factory.

RE: Vehicle Inspections - has anyone tried the stealership? I take mine back to Malloy and they do it no charge. Never a word said about lights. I also know about a third of the mechanics have their own trucks.

 

I was eyebanging those but I hate negative offsets and they don't do anything but a -38 in 5x5. Trying to find something around a 4.5" backspace because that's exactly what I need to not rub the shock tower with 37s and the lift.

Kmc offers some beadlocks with 4.75” bs, probably in your bolt pattern too.

 

When we were house shopping 20 years ago, my wife would look inside the house while I walked the property. I wanted room to ride and shoot so if the lot didn’t pass that test I didn’t bother looking inside. I built up a 3 sided berm and have a bunch of steel. I used to have shooting parties all the time. But the 86 acre lot next door got divided when the rancher died and the daughter built her house 200yds behind the backstop. So I will still shoot but will build the berm up much higher before inviting folks over. Seems that too many people who think they are shooters learned from watching “The A-Team”

What was getting shot at what? And I hope you got the extra insurance?

 

The original plate was 50+ pounds of 3" thick 4340. The chunk is about 1/6 of the plate. It was shot with a shaped charge warhead. No extra insurance, corporate insurance will take care of it.

 

I tried that with the first garage. I even used the word ornamental and challenged him to get them working. He eventually just said he wouldn't pass it no matter what....I had already decided not to get it inspected there but I was trying to win the argument. Second guy had no problem.

What if you have both?
