Well I now they 6 years is the "technical" life at least from a servicing standpoint.

Not sure about spots up that way, but in terms of national chain/online ordering ability...I have had a great experience so far with Discount Tire (bought 5 tires through them and have gone to two different locations for the 6 rotations so far).

I think Auto Meter makes a two gauge pod that sits on top of the steering column if you're looking for a mostly clean install. Could run oil pressure in the other spot.

That’s getting up there in terms of life. Me, personally, I would replace them. Tires are the thing that literally hold your truck to the street so I wouldn’t skimp there.

It's time to apply offbeat random lyrics to the subject at hand, (A catchy song lyric I had to endure on high school field trips):

The tires are the things on your car
That make contact with the road
The car is the thing on the road
That takes you back to your abode

The wife got new shoes earlier than expected. 35x12.5x17 on Warn “Moonsault” wheels (who knew warn made wheels?), makes my 32s look like babies now haha. Now I’m wondering if her 33’s with 20k miles will fit on mine without a lift or spacers.... pesky upper control arm and cab mount :sawzall: they will taunt me everyday just sitting the garage.

For anyone wondering what 35,33 and 32 ko2 look like compared.

Looking good! If I were ever to get another Heep, it would definitely be a 2-door Rubi.

The 4 door is a better vehicle in almost every way but I just don't know that I could get myself to pass on a 2-door. There's just something about the classic look.

I've had many Heeps over the years, but never a 4-door so I would have to take your word for it. I just like the classic 2-door look, and I don't have young kids so the 4-door is not necessary. Plus SWB > LWB off-road, or so I have heard...:D

Plenty of folks running Kings in here, though likely not just for looks...:D

Not sure on tunes...do you mean like the OV tune? You can do that on your own.
