Bed cage? Whats that? Like an extension of a roll cage?

 

Cut into the bed and have the shocks poke up into the bed. It's like an overlanding bed rack but cooler.

I mean, you & chris both have benders. If I really wanted to do it....

 

I was considering making some nifty mini bed cage that cut into the bed a little bit so I could tuck the shocks inboard to avoid the tire rubbing on the shock during articulation. But then I decided that's a lot of work and Archive offered me their new relocate for testing, sooooooooo

 

So apparently kings arent indestructible.....easy fix luckily

Hear anything back yet? Trying to find someone local but not the best of luck so far.

 

Rrt can do rebuilds if you dont need revalving.

 

I shipped them, they arrived this past Monday. Waiting for the call back on what the total will be. And then hopefully they will be shipped back to me soon. Its been a week and a half so far, that the trucks been on jackstands

Just getting a rebuild on my fronts, and changing the valving and a rebuild on the rear

 

There is a place in NC that can do it too.. but they would need to order the seals and other stuff, Im sure, like RRT. But the NC place builds for Raptors. I didnt want to ship my stuff somewhere, and then have to wait for them to order supplies, and then finally start my rebuild. Just send it to an authorized service center in the first place

 

Based off a google search looks like they specialize in race cars, seems legit. Since the one side is good I’d just get it rebuilt and hopefully solve the saggy shock problem. I’ll give them a call tomorrow and see. I appreciate the tip. @fatfurious2 that’s never fun, don’t mind waiting as long as I know it’s in the process since the stock rear suspension rides alright with the AAL.

 

RRT is a good joint. They know their stuff.

 

I dont mind waiting either. The truck isnt even at my house its at a friends. I spoke to downsouth on Monday, and they should be starting this week on them. I wont bother them until maybe Friday or Tuesday of next week.

Just my personal opinion, I wouldnt want to take my truck shocks to get rebuilt at a place that specializes in BMWs. Yeah they could do it, but so could I.. Id just rather have someone that knows how to work on truck stuff, work on my truck shocks.
