Thanks for that. The small voice in the back of my mind (that I too frequently ignore) tells me that there has to be reason it costs less. I just don't have the practical knowledge to know much about them and how they are built. Appreciate the feed back.

There’s a reason they’re not a vendor on here anymore either. If you search around you’ll find some light reading. Basically customer service and fitment issues on some things.

I did get the feeling from the website that it has some unfriendly undertones, but I thought is was just not the way I would write something. So it looks like I'm going to spend more, wait longer, and have to finish it when it gets here. I just told someone that I'd rather spend a little more and buy it once.

Getting it Line-xed will require a primer of some kind. You could save a little money and do it yourself.

Both options would be high. One would just be hiding behind the tire and the other would be a little more obvious in the center.

I'm awaiting a quote from the Winchester store. I didn't know you could buy it and do it yourself.

The primer you can. You can use just about anything for it.

I've been using a self etching primer when I need to do something. I used it on the bedrack and the bull bar I'm going to replace.

Probably your best bet. They just need something for the coating to adhere to. It won't adhere to bare metal.

My truck looks a bit different today. I sold my bedrack to a new friend and soon to be TW member. (Welcome Ryan!) I also ordered a "blemished" Endeavor bed rack from Rago Fabrication. It came with a healthy discount and will need a little work when it gets here. I decided that I wanted a lower profile to the truck, and a little more robust bed rack to set the truck up the way I see it. Next up is the front bumper. I will be ordering the "Summit" from Relentless Fabrication with the center hoop. (I really like that baja bar!) Now the work begins. Wiring for lights and winch, headliner insulation and upfitter switches in the over head console. And an SR or SR5 grill. And some other stuff... It will be a busy spring.
