    This has been effective (had my civic gas line chewed through last summer). Contemplated/contemplating the electronic/ultrasonic deterrent devices you mount in the engine bay...but the civic gas line was chewed up btw frame and top of gas tank, so not sure if that would've been helpful.

    Did you try cardboard or non clear plastic laying on the area? I just remember it was really effective in elementary science class experiment!!!
