I think all skids come bare. I just sprayed like two coats of primer on, then a couple coats of that rustoleum rubberized stuff. It has held on fairly well so far.

 

Well with that being said, I guess Im dropping off my truck in Fredericksburg to be worked on November 8th which is a Tuesday. You wouldn't be around to pick me up that night would you David?

There is a lot of industrial stuff in that area. I think thats right where the pepsi plant is if I remember correct. They usually have some nice looking Jeeps in the parking lot, you can always go look at those.

Ah kick ass man, I think I might go with that then. I get the impression that 1/4" steel is the way to go. Are you guys running 3/16"?

I have 3/16". Was under the impression that 1/4" is for extreme off road people. The IFS skid is 75 lbs alone!

 

I am working that night. Can you drop it off on the 9th?

 

True that I forget how heavy those things can get. Just curious as I tend to be hard on stuff sometimes and wasn't sure if 1/4" is really needed around here.

Actually I don't normally use my truck during the week, would you be willing to help me drop it off during the weekend before if you think you might be around?

My ATO is 1/4. I only have the IFS skid at this time.

yea, that would work. Its my weekend off. The week of the 8th, I work that weekend. Its my "long week". 7, 8, 11, 12, 13th

I had one of those. Awesome bikes. I want to get another one! I should have never sold it.

 

Finishing at Shenandoah, it's not super hard work right now so I only need to go once a month, unfortunately I forgot to reset my alarm from normal Sat to school Sat.
