Bro, I got absolutely swamped the past few days. Life was like "your hair is coming back, lemme fix that".

Other than smashing your fingers, how'd the rest of the task go?

 

The bearing replacement was easy. That took 1.4 minutes. The AC clutch took 2 hours. Had to go rent a 3 jaw puller. And it still didn't fix my AC. I had to add more freon.

Everything is good now. I just need to change my oil and put on the 0.75" spacers on my rear wheels. Then im done. Tomorrow will be the day for that stuff

 

What color should I paint my skid plate? Anything but black, the randomer the better

Florescent Hot Pink with a high gloss clear coat.

EDIT: With an always on rock light or two to show it off.

Well @nguyenpatrickt would suggest yellow, brighter the better!

 

So I assume a golden color close to your T4R would be to blah blah blah?

I think I'm going to avoid a matchy color. Pink and purple/blurple are definetly top choices. Yellow isn't bad either

 

Might try a silver/chrome? Perhaps even...dare I say, Red?

 

No no no. I'm in the camp that armor should only be black.

 

why beat around the bush, just use this for some spot touch ups...it'll add 5+ hp, plus it'll look like you actually use the skids!

 

I picked up some florescent pink for my LCA skids, but I'll likely use it on all my skids. I'm a fan of that approach!

 

I agree. I'm off work for the rest of the day and I'm bored. Black is too mainstream, and I want to change it up

 

I hear ya, I was thinking of what to do whenever I pull off and media blast my sliders. I still have 8 or so cans of Rust-Oleum matte black and bedliner...but you guys and your fun accent color 'themes' make me wonder how sliders, skids and bumper would look in a gunmetal grey, let alone neon and florescent colors! I will continue to follow, if only to get ideas

 

I Line-X'ed my front and rear bumpers, as well as my rock sliders. Luckily not my skids though.

I like the look, but I'd go with a roll-on bedliner next time.

 

I just did my front bumper in roll on. And I did the sliders with Raptor liner cans. Those are curing in the basement till this weekend. No extra colors...
