The only input I have is that in my limited experience with nitto ridge grapplers in snow and ice, they didn’t impress me at all. I only say that because they’re comparable to the Maxx.

Ive heard this from you before. After you said that I had no desire to run graps. Thanks for reminding me. Now I would look heavily at the new Mickey Thompsons, but they are assholes for not offering the new tire in 16 inch.

Yokohama G003s have a higher silica content, which is supposed to make them good in icy/wintery conditions. I see lots of 4runner guys moving to this tire, but I don't have any experience first hand

4lbs heavier per for the same back spacing

Edited to add. Alot of people with 3rd gens really hate the trans and gearing after they put wheels and tires. With these wheels weighing less than the factory wheels, it works out well. If I remember correctly my unsprung weight is like 7lbs more (per side) with 315s and these wheels vs 255s on stockers. Im also on 5.29s so this thing rips compared to most trucks on 35s

Id be more worried about the steering rack than the wheel at that point. Just another reason to go to tundra or LC200 rack

I got added to basikbiker’s list for his tundra rack. Once he has one available I’ll be buying and installing that. My rack isn’t thrilled turning 110 lb 35s at 6 psi

A friend ran tc's plus 3 kit, with machete beadlocks and 35s, his rack on the 3rd gen killed itself at 20k miles, he had installed everything at 10k. Didnt even really wheel it hard. Just at the cove a few times.

I believe it. My heimed tie rod ends don’t help either. Transfers more energy into the rack since they’re so rigid.
