They should work together, but make sure you have the cam tabs you want, and install them, then fit the marlin on top

I only really want the bottom piece here:

I would imagine the round pieces could be installed without the bottom part.. If they were wanted.

So once you weld these on, I assume that precludes putting on the JD Fab lower pivot kit in the future.

    Uh, I'd figure so.

I dont think the lower pivot kit is a requirement to run 35s.

I finally took out my wheel well liners in the front today. I had them in for 45k miles on 35s and always seemed to rub a tiny bit.

The biggest issue with larger tires is the up travel clearance. Changing the lower mounts is just going to move the tire forward, not fix the uptravel issue. I know Boogie has a 1 inch body lift, and I'm thinking about doing that. I've seen eimkeith recommend it for 3rd gen 4runners for 35s.

The biggest advantage to the lower pivot kit is moving the LCAs forward, which kills 2 birds with one stone (higher caster and moves the tire away from the cab mount). But as you said, the uptravel issues aren't solved. I'm probably going to just get the Marlins and go from there. Can't justify the cost of the pivot kit even though I like the concept.

You could always cut the marlin LCA gussets off later down the road if you do the JD Fab LCA pivots. Since you have to cut the stock pivots and all that jazz off anyway for those

I'm not too worried about it. If I go that route I'll only really need to worry about the rear, because the fronts on the third gens are built like FJ cruisers (read flexy as fuck) so I need all the space I can get. .. I also need a high clearance rear anyway.

Yeah the 1" BL helped alot with the 35s rubbing up front. I'll only rub now slightly at full stuff when turning.

Free mounting at Walmart because I bought them from Wally world online. We'll see how this goes lol

Edit: mounting as in tires onto wheels. Not mounting to hubs and lugs etc

Hopefully they don't give you any flack about putting a larger tire size on.
