I think with everyone else not being available it might be beneficial to move it to a different date. I have no idea what weekend. I was just throwing it out there.

What I prefer to do when organizing something is pick one or two people and set a date that works for you guys. Then if you want, put out to the bigger group “hey this is when it’s happening, make it or don’t, there’s always a next time.”

That way you’re not trying to cater to everyone.

I was just being lazy and needy. Hoping that someone else would pick up the thread and run with it. Not to throw my personal crap out, but I'm still having a rough time with my family drama and just wanted to escape.

Greg, is there anywhere local to you we could go?

Nick, standby. That whole weekend is in flux for me. I could probably do Sunday, but not 100% sure. I wish there was something more local that didn't involve a three-hour tour.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
What about the 28th, weekend before Labor Day?

@EatSleepTacos Randy, do you have any more info on those bed storage deals from JD Fab? I've wanted to try and build one on the truck for quite a while, but could never figure out how to build the cover.

Knew I should have stayed out of that thread! Inner fenders, too?! JD Fab may getting a few paychecks from me in the future.

I know. I'm just glad their site doesn't load at work. I've been lusting after the lower pivot deal since it came out. I think I'll add my name to the inner fender thing. I don't even have full info on them!!

If you are going to do inner fenders supports, why not just cage the entire engine and incorporate them that way? Serious question

Have you seen the product they’re offering? You just cut off the stock inner fenders and bolt theirs on. You get stronger fenders and more clearance all around. Still a good amount of work involved but nothing close to making a tube front end.

I don't know all the details, but so far it seems all you do is drill out spot welds and bolt theirs in. Even I could do this without cutting off too many fingers.
