going camping up around flagpole knob tomorrow night. any advice for finding a camping spot in an area that's not too crowded?

I lost mine in a huge mud pit.... but thankfully @Darkgoatracer made sure to run it over and get it to an unrecoverable depth

I'll never forget us digging around with that tiny stick trying to find it.

 

I lost an exhaust once on the trail. Drove like 3 miles and @EatSleepTacos let me use his impact to bolt it back on.

Yup like Nick said should be pretty dead during the week. If you really want some solitude check out long run road just east of FPK. Great views and it's a underused area. That offshoot road heading up to reddish knob also has some underused trails. Anytime I've done flagpole during the week I've pretty much had it too myself.

I lost my license plate when I went up to FPK with @Coot83.

 

Now that I'm settled and have my garage in order, I have a couple items I need to make use of from my fjcruiser. Budbuilt diff skidplate and meangreen high output alternator. Bud said he'd send me a new bracket for the skid so I have to wait. But the alternator....well....I might need a donor shell! Will post pics when it gets done.
