+2.25 per side LT, -38 9” wides and no flares. A recipe for maximum poke

They would poke out 3.5” more than the stock TRD off-road wheels.

8.5” wide -10 would poke 2” more than stock wheels.

That’s good, I’m not going crazy. I know this will be slightly different with different trucks/alignment but do you still hit CMC or fender at full stuff?

This is stock width and -38’s to give you a better idea. The lack of flares definitely adds to it, because those provide about 2” of coverage.

Talking stock width here, on my old wheel setup I tubbed my firewall. Cycled the suspension and full stuff lock to lock I cleared. Cut a hole in my firewall and whittled my cab mount down to nothing.

Switched to -38s and the extra poke caused me to start rubbing again, albeit just a small amount. -38s and 35” tires are no joke on stock width, they’ll take a lot of work to not rub.

Now with the LT and pivot point pushed outward (and forward thanks to this specific kit) I no longer rub anywhere again, full stuff lock to lock.

edit: to clarify I welded sheet metal back over the hole and sealed it up, I don’t drive my truck around flintstone style.

My takeaway is that long travel stops rubbing thus I need LT haha. I thinking that I can skip the Cab mount relocate if I jump to LT.

*edit x2* I want LT for LT but these are good side effects I wasn’t aware of hah

Holy crap! I though that was a relocation but it’s your stock CM. I appreciate your style hah.
I don’t know the measurements (not sure it really matters) but here’s my 3rd Gen with -38s on 285/70r17 for reference. If the numbers do matter, I can get them in the morning. 9ACEBACC-0B48-4B95-B3A8-CC2720010F53.jpg

I honestly don’t know how tire width would play into that. Seeing JT’s 285s on -38’s seems like a very reasonable amount of poke.

    Long travel all the things!!!

What does the SCS go for? What’s a reasonable price?

A set of 4 ray10 for my tundra was 1300 delivered or so. So 1700 for a set of 5 is probably about what you’d pay if you bought direct.

It’s mainly near the CMC area but seems to hit my fender in a way that pops my flare tabs out and makes it flop in the wind. Fox 2.5 ext. travel with 700lbs springs. I think it’s up 2 or 3 inches …not sure. I might be rubbing more ,because I’m sagging in the rear, that others would.
