For reference, I ran 17x8.5 Ray10s on my 3rd Gen with 255/80/17 Cooper ST Maxx. Barely stuck out past the stock fender flares, no cutting, no rubbing.

This post is also brought to you by the skinny tire gang (former member in good standing).

Edit: to add that I think that is a great deal for 5 “local” Ray10s. And that color will look killer on your truck.

I mean ro be fair they dont look bad either. I got 255/85r16 KM3s (mud tires) and they are great, and surprisingly quiet.

They look great! Also, the 8.5 width on my old Ray10s along with the ST Maxx actually made the setup look wider than the stockers IMO. This is 255/80/17 ST Maxx on 17x8.5 -10 Ray10s:

No rubbing with an 888 OME lift and HD Dakars (no trimming, cutting, bending, or CMC).

One of the few times that a short wheel base doesn’t help hah. Another reason to travel in 2s and keep recovery equipment with ya. 02631B19-1960-48BC-BD1E-190E003CBAF1.jpg

Did you have wheel spacers with that setup? If my calculations are correct, I have the same backspacing you had, but your stance seems wider. Right now I have 3/4" spacers in the back and nothing up front. Thinking of getting 1.25" spacers for the rear and moving the 3/4" spacers up front.

No spacers. I think the backspacing was 4.30”.

I don't recall how wide Mark's pro wheels are but here's a quick and dirty lesson on poke. Let's say we have two different wheels with the same backspacing.

    7" wide with 4" BS
    9" wide with 4" BS.

Backspacing is how much wheel you have inboard of the mounting surface. "front space" is your poke.

    upload_2022-1-27_9-15-14.jpg

9" wide with 4" BS leaves 5" of front space.
7" wide with 4" BS leaves 3" of front space.

More front space = more poke

Ordering a random specific part from McMaster and the shipping doesn't seem to increase as long as I add stuff coming from the same warehouse. Currently have a mix of some m6, m8, and m10 bolts in the order as well to have around. Anything else I should try and scoop? weld nuts and rivnuts come from a different warehouse and significantly increase the shipping, otherwise I would throw those in

also pretty badass that they have solidworks files for literally everything. didn't realize that until I was messing around on their site

alrighty then, placed my order! it will be nice to be stocked on JIS hardware. i hate having to switch between 12mm and 13mm sockets for m8 bolts

also they claim it will be here tomorrow, which is pretty cool
