I’m trying my damndest to avoid it.

Went out today to look at it. They dealer said it wouldn’t start, I grab my keys to pop the hood and check a fuse… low and behold it starts right up when I get in. It’s also now flashing in red “low oil pressure” “high transmission fluid temperature” and “check charging system” and cut off when I have it some gas.

I have a feeling I need to go out and buy some lube…

I’m horrible with electrical stuff, but I’d take it one thing at a time. The car is dying cuz it isn’t getting fuel. Hard wire the pump (I believe it’s a green and a white wire going above the gas tank but double check that) and see if it runs.

Well that's good. I never gave a hard look to a bed rack because I had a Softopper. And there were two companies that made a rack to go over it.....

I saw the Foo's 13 times. So bummed on Taylor's passing.
2011 saw them at Verizon Center, had just moved here, picked up last minute obstructed view seats. My obstruction was Taylor. It was amazing to see him work.

Could anyone point me to a one-stop shop for things like heavy duty drawer slides, pulls, locks, etc? I'm thinking about building some drawers for the back of the Heep. Given my carpentry skills I may reconsider, but ya never know.

I only got to see them one time, right after DG broke his leg. They played for almost 3 hours...epic. That concert was at RFK back in 2015 I think.

If you want to save a few bucks, Lowe's has all the stuff you need to do that. If have a little extra to burn, Woodcraft and Rockler are specialty shops. But I think you can find what you need at Lowes. And if you want some weekend help, Lowes is three miles from here and I have some stuff in the garage (4x6 work bench, various saws and sanders, etc.) that would help with the project. Price it out first, with lumber costs still up, a pre-made unit may be worth while.

Thanks Tim. I did stumble across Rockler. And I may take you up on the carpentry tools! I only have some basics!

I'm sure I'll save money doing it myself. I was kind of surprised that with how the rest of the Jeep aftermarket is flooded, there were only a couple of options for drawers. There were some cheaper options that looked like an after-thought. Narrowed that down to three vendors. And we're talking in the $1300 range. They just fill the space better and don't look like someone tacked it in to the back.

I found a couple of places that sell the hardware I was looking for..... Now for materials. Maybe.

If your thinking wood, ply is light and stronger than plank. And since your probably going to paint it, it doesn't have to be the higher quality / veneer stuff. Flooring plywood will be good.

One thougth, jump over to the the Rear Seat Delete thread for some different materials. Some guys have source marine grade materials, some the same type if stuff Decked uses. Back half of the thread, -ish.

I think McMaster carr should have all that. They should have long enough slides for the Tacoma.

I was gonna go with slides on my drawers but ended up using UHMW strips and decided not to lock it since it can’t be opened unless the tailgate is down.

Not sure why I didn't think of that. McMaster takes quite a bit of my money.

I was thinking marine grade birch. Seems to be what most folks use. I haven't even gotten to the point of thinking about how to make it all look pretty!
