We have arrived at our home for the next three nights. Unfortunately the wifi is super slow and we have no cell service, so I can't torture you with this incredible view. Starstruck Glamping (thank you Gwen for the OT to cover this!). About 30 minutes from Big Bend and Terlinga TX. Tonight we relax. Tomorrow we explore!

Cell service!! Still can't post a pic! Last day at Big Bend. Did the Scenic route down to Castelon. Ran River Road West out to the river Guage, about a third of the way across the south west side of the park headed east. The road is closed due to monsoon damage about the half way point. Need high clearance, 4x4 was optional for most of it. Headed to Carlsbad and White Sands next. Hopefully we'll find some cell service.

River Road west. Now I understand why it was closed during and after the monsoons. It is literally mountain drainage and Rio Grand overflow.

We saw several spots along the scenic drive that had repairs or replacement of the roadway. Along the Rio Grand sediment from the river was scraped off and was literally a foot deep.

    More later.

I think so. This was pretty neat and ball parking 50k to set up. All remote. Water and propane trucked in, electric from solar which powered on demand hot water. Septic field handled two yurts. Maybe your AirBNB for the property.

We talked about that, but it's just too #%^&*(*&^%$#$%^&*()_+ hot down here in the summer! Humidity or not. We did talk about a retirement travel vehicle. We saw an Earthroamer LTI on and F550 frame. $800k for the one we saw. It won't be one of those.

Might anyone be interested in a C4 High Clearance rear bumper with swingout? Currently doing some research and might pick up a WAR FAB Ultra High Cut. Located in Brambleton/Ashburn.

My plan has been to get a bumper with a swing out down the road, like in a couple years. I have a bunch of other stuff I want to get done first. How much were you thinking for it?

I think I'd let it go for $2000. I installed it summer of 2020 and I think I've only offroaded with it one time. Just gauging interest to give someone here the first crack at it. Wouldn't be able to pull it off until I get the new one and I'm not sure how much they're backordered.

Totally makes sense. That’s definitely a fair price but I’ll pass on it for now, I was hoping it was a little banged up or something and maybe would be cheaper lol
