I did the round trip to Detroit a few weeks back via the turnpike and 70 /81 and finished at 14.2 with the 265/70/17 KO2's running 70-75.

Not bad, especially compared to my mud tires. Congratulations on those sexy pieces of rubber

I have used K02 and grabber all terrains off road in the dry and loved them. I would still run all terrains if my Tacomas weren’t trail-toys that see lots of mud.

For those of us that have trimmed the flares and reinstalled them, has anyone broken a tab off the flare on removal and felt the need to plastic-weld it back into place prior to reinstalling?

I wish my truck wasn't my DD, but I chose this life! I think I am going to look into the second set route for some ATs.

    Nice.

I'm not known for doing responsible things, but I may have to change my ways here soon. Love these g003s though, which is why I might go the second set route so I can keep them! For now, I basically just told myself that we will be taking the wife's ride from here on out.

Jealous! At least with that vehicle, I would be more accepting of mid-teens mileage. I probably should have went with the Tundra...those new ones have a kick ass interior.

I think I'm going to look into the grabber ATs as a second set. I had one set of KO2s a few years back and was not a fan, but that may have just been a one-off.

Those new ones are nice!! And being a TT V6 their MPG is pretty similar to the third gen. I would drive the shit out of one.

Hi everyone, I’m new to TW. I just got a Tacoma back in January. I recently got Bilstein 5100s installed last week and this week, once wheels arrive, I hope to get tires and wheels installed. The stock off road tires have about 1200 miles on them. Is there a responsible resale market for them here in northern VA? I don’t want to pay to have shop dispose of them if someone would buy the factory tires and wheels for a reasonable price.

You have to qualify for the BST rules even in subforums.

Thanks for the quick reply. I saw requirements existed in order to be able sell on TW. I haven’t reviewed those requirements yet. I’m more just curious to know if others have had trouble selling their new/fairly new factory tires and wheels around northern VA.

It all depends on what you think is a "resonable price" I would say, check the BST forum on pricing, but for anything used, 30% of retails would be a reasonable evaluation.

Gave Tessa a bath after day care. House was chilly and she was still a little damp. Tried a blanket over her when she laid down. Took a minute, but I think she likes it.

We put our dog in pajamas every night. It’s fun spoiling the pups.

Yes, it is. Between all playtime at boarding, being back home, a ride in the truck, new smells in the front yard (rabbit poop), and us being home, she's had a pretty full day. We're now talking about getting her a playmate as the cats don't want to play. We saw this up in Detroit and she started the conversation. Cavapoo puppy.

Welcome and I did the exact same thing. Ended up tossing them believe it or not. It was more trouble to deal with people and their garbage for me.

I moved a set of Duelers on stock rims in about 36 hours on marketplace.

Didn’t have a chance cut the rear fenders before the 35s go on tomorrow. Figured with the load of 35s the original tie rods and lcas deserved to be replaced :D

well I found some rust on the top of the driver rear wheel well so I might just trim the fender to cut it out
