Yea that process is no fun. I have witnessed the spindle game twice now thanks to @TacoFMS, some stressful moments doing that! Are you going to do your bearing soon?

Looks good! My redlines started squeaking after a while. Tech support suggested cycling them once a month or so. The relocate is nice, never seen that before.

Oh we could get it done. I have helped with one before, and have all the stuff necessary. Well until something breaks then its time to start rigging things up

So I'm going to have to replace my brakes and rotors soon and that part is easy. I have never done a brake flush before and if someone wouldn't mind helping me out with that. I'm sure it's not difficult, I just have never done it before and would feel more comfortable with someone knowledgeable helping.

@fatfurious2, I would volunteer, but Im not that close. He was there with me when I flushed mine and might be available, pretty simple really, but it helps having someone on the pedal while you open and close the bleed valve.

Hmm good to know. Would switching to 285s require a regear?

Depends on your tastes...I got 285s on mine and at first I had to get used to the slower acceleration. I know I go through gas a little quicker now, but I honestly don't know if I want to regear anymore. We will see in time, but its the city driving that kills my mileage, on highway it does pretty well which is what I care about since I drive a lot in the summer time to ski resorts. Im sure the experience from @fatfurious2 will help determine for me if I want to go that route down the road or not.

Keep in mind, many don't regear at 33's. I think it just comes down to what you want your taco to achieve and if the mileage really bothers you that much. Some even have 35s with stock gearing.

I'm pretty light on the gas pedal with my Tacoma. I'm sure the mileage will take a bit of a hit jumping up to 33s, but I hoping it won't be as bad as some people are reporting. I think alot of people tend to forget that the larger tires are traveling farther than the stock ones when they are throwing out their terrible MPG numbers.

Thanks for the info! I'm seriously considering doing my suspension lift with 33s with my tax return this year.

I have 275's and I could tell a drop in mpg. I dropped 2-3 mpgs when I put them on.

Def sounds like a plan! Out of curiousity, what tire sizes are you juggling? I will say this, if you go with 285s you will have to do a minor cab mount chop to get full turns without rubbing. If you go with 255s you will be clear to turn on the street, but might rub a little on the trail. I have the BFG Bro-2s which are a decent tire, but I hear the ST Maxx tires are the way to go for quietness and performance. Would be curious what you are thinking about rolling with.

Tire size is certainly a toss-up at this point. I'm either going with 255/85/16 BFG KM2 or 285/75/16 Goodyear MTRs.
