whatever :) I was there... I told the wife that "there is a 50% chance we will meet some Tacoma guys, but there is a 100% chance we will have burgers and beer" and she was down. haha

I went at 6PM and saw no Tacomas.... And I didnt really even look when we left around 7PM because I was in a food coma.

    cool place though!

Thanks guys, I have been rolling around like a retard with the stock bumper for WAYYYYYY too long. Cool thing is, the bumper has a plate to fit a smitty-bilt winch in it!

I saw that! Which is awesome. a lot of those pre-runner type bumpers dont accommodate for winches for some unknown reason

and I'll "technically" still have my stock bumper... even after I get my "bumper" on.... but I cant wait for this thing to get here!!!

That will be cool to check out! I think that is why my bumper has somewhat of a hybrid look to it is because it needs a boxy middle to help accommodate the stress of a winch. I think to be honest, most prerunner guys out west wont ever need a winch and so it helps with the lean look for it if they don't have to worry about the added reinforcement of the middle. I wasn't sure what to expect when the fabricator said he could design it for a winch without looking crazy, and I was pleasantly surprised at the end result. I work in the dc area as well, maybe we should get beers sometime when you get off work as we got a few guys who typically meet around the springfield town center area.

Are you looking to throw a winch into your bumper soon? Would be curious to see what your set up might be. I def need to buy some recovery rings for mine.

I think that fabricator did a phenomenal job with your bumper.

yea, I float between our corporate office in Herndon... to the job site in Reston, to the job site in DC... so just let me know!

yep, my winch actually gets delivered tomorrow..... so it'll be sitting in my garage for a bit waiting on the bumper to arrive.

Ah cool man, what winch are you going with? As far as your schedule, you should let me know when you are in the dc area. I normally bounce out around 3 and get home around 4 in the afternoons. Im off 395 in Alexandria, but could probably meet you some place off 395 sometime.

I went with the Engo 10k because of how well they did in fourwheeler.com's multi winch shootout...If you havent read the article, I highly recommend it they ran some rigorous tests on these things...

    http://www.fourwheeler.com/how-to/129-1107-massive-multi-winch-shootout/

and I found a company called Axxis offroad that gave it to me for $335 shipped which is a steal.

i'm pretty much the same, I usually roll in to work between 7 and 7:30 and leave between 3 and 3:30... and I work right across the river from Alexandria in DC at JB Anacostia - Bolling... I usually take 495 coming and going to Ashburn, so we could easily meet whenever really.
