Im sure there will be people out and about, Ashburn takes me an hour on a good day without traffic. Honestly I think it is a good spot, just unfortunately Im pretty far out from you guys during the lunch period. I would roll without question on the weekend though. I say go for that BBB place, it sounds good!

I was thinking more along the lines of finding some untraveled country roads. BBB is a solid place, but a little expensive for lunch, for me anyways. I could always meet somewhere else before or after.

A trail? haha the National Forest to hit a legitimate trail. An hour and a half away with no traffic/snow. There are tons of country dirt roads with hills in western Loudoun county that I'm sure would be fun in the snow.

I know Allder School road (just north of Purcellville is paved in some spots but mostly gravel/dirt. It gets muddy when is rains! :D

On the mountain...Ebenezer road is paved and gravel 50/50 to Morgans Mill rd. which is steep and 100% gravel... may present a challenge in the snow actually.

Those are a few that I frequent, but there is more, you just have to explore and find them. That's what smart phones are for!

You can take Old Waterford Road from Leesburg to Waterford. It gets muddy. There's also Snickersville turnpike and some other places outside of Leesburg that I've heard of. Mainly gravel roads
