So did you two break up or were you guys never serious? I mean I don't want to bring up any leftover feelings so if you would rather not talk about I understand.

Also I guess that makes it official that I truly was just a fling for him...

I still dont understand why people edit out their license plate... thousands of people every morning see it when you drive in to work... makes no sense to me :der:

but the truck looks great! The TRD Pro grill only looks the best on Blue and Red Tacoma's IMO.

    question for you guys:

my winch and bumper is going to be a total of about 160 lbs (give or take 8lbs)

If I decide to do the Bilstein5100 lift, OME coils... what coils should I run? (and yes, I have already talked with Marie about this) This is what Headstrong said:

The 886's would provide around 1.5" of lift, over stock, on a 2016+ 4dr 4wd running around 200lbs of additional up front weight. If the weight is less, as is in your case, you can see more lift and potentially a stiffer ride from these coils. With that being said you won't see an additional 1.5" of lift from these with the weight you are adding.

The flip side of this is the 888's will provide around 2.5" of lift and the 887's will provide around 2", over stock, on a stock weight 4dr 4wd. With the amount of weight you could see around .5-1" of sagging from the coils. It is always hard to say exactly how much sagging you will see which is the reason for the large bracket so with either of these coils, with the weight, you wouldn't be able to get to 3" over stock especially since neither start you out at that point to begin with. Even with the 2nd gen Bilsteins at the 0.85" setting you would be hard pressed to get 3" over stock with the weight added.

So my take a way from this is: I should run the 2nd gen Bilsteins @ .85 and get the OME 888 springs... correct me if I am wrong.....

Are you going steel bumper or aluminum? Are you adding new UCAs? Are you adding skids and sliders? The 886 are 402 mm and stiffer at 660 lbs spring rate. The 887 are 400mm at 590lbs and 888 405mm at 590 lbs. If you go bilstein i would leave them and not move up any notches but you could. If you do i would think you would stiffen the ride similar to adding the 886 anyways. I would go 886 and it will drive like a truck or go 888 and have a little bit a sag. I would assume they are both close but would have to see to compare and/or drive to get better feel. Anybody have any of these setups yet on here?

the bumper is the SOS Concepts Streamline bumper and I bought it in steel....

I will not be adding skids for a good while, but I'll be putting about 100lbs worth of step / sliders on in the near-ish future (Tyger Star Armor steps)

so youre saying either way, run at the 0 setting of the 5100s and go with the OME 888s or 886s?

886s wont lift as much, but wont sag as much
but the 888s will lift higher, but sag a little......if-so-facto I'll end up with about the same results at the end of the day
