Yeah basically from what i understand. The 886 are 402mm and 888 are 405mm so not much different in height but the 70lbs extra in spring rate is the variable. I have 885 with top spacer and they are nice. I will probably upgrade to 886 after i add bumper/winch/sliders plus more skids. But i dont mind the stiffer ride as long as it keeps me closer to 3in lift. The 888 would probably be a softer ride though. others will chime in and spread the knowledge. You could always start out with the stiffer 886 and if you dont like it sell or trade and go with 888. OME Coils arent to expensive.

No worries man how soon is that bumper coming in? I wanna check it out. I wish SOS made one for mine but I saw southern style Offroad has one that is nice and low pro but pricy for half bumper.

it should be coming in the first week of April! I'll be in Hawaii for my sister's wedding until the 10th, but after that, my schedule is wide open

    also, last suspension setup question:

    Bilstein 5100s set at 0
OME 886 springs or OME 888 springs
drivers side 1/2" spacer (to make up for Taco lean)
    passenger side 1/4" spacer

Do you this would give me around 2.5" of lift at the end of the day?

in my opinion (which doesnt really matter) the Pro grill gets lost in all the black.... there are many more options on the market that can make the grill stand out a lot more.

I do like that you painted the lettering though.... definitely pops

Thanks. I wanted it to get lost in the black. Whole dam grille is too big!

Honestly man, you just nailed it why I like the black grill on yours. It does minimize the shape of the grill!

meaning it hides the design of the grill and wheels.....

    for example:

all of that black hides the design of his wheel... he might as well have $25 black steel wheels from a junk yard in my opinion as opposed to spending $100-$200 per wheel for those.

I do agree going full "murder" on a ride can kill some of the design behind it, but the 3rd gen has too big of a grill for my liking. By blacking it out on a black one appeals to me more aesthetically because in this case it dumbs down some of the design as you would say. Looks like we are fully stocked on :der: in this thread today!

You should tell him that kings are adjustable and as he adds more weight all hes gotta do is crank the coils up a bit :D

Then wait! As someone who is on their 3rd suspension, just do it right the first time. It will save time and money down the road.
