Oh, and I have an angle grinder as well. So it looks like we have cutoffs covered from every "angle" :yay:

I've been thinking of .300 as well.
My new neighbor has trail pics of hogs in the area

I've been thinking of another 1911, it's the only big gun I actually like and they fit my hand perfectly.

Understandable but it is nIce to have confidence you can shoot at distance as well. Always good to know your weapons and your limits and work from there.

I effectively shoot at 10/15 yards all the time when shooting.

I wouldn't say 50 but 25 yds is reasonable. I prefer steel for that shooting though cus I like the audible feedback.

I ultimately want both racks and run RTT in rear and recovery gear and maxtrac in front. Seems to be most functional that way.

6.8 is a flat shooting round, similar to 300 blackout. I'm from Texas and served up a lot of bacon with my 6.8!

Not much bacon up here ... yet!

I also need to build a truck gun with side folding stock around 8.5-10.5 in length. Still sourcing parts and researching though. Plus tax stamps ugghhh!

Nice man, yeah I looked at building one but ammo was a bitch and I have been overseas for a bit. Might eventually still build one. Might have to try yours and see. My buddy is trying to get a hog hunt down in Georgia or NC going soon.
