I still have it, you are welcome to borrow it. Just let me know. If you guys are doing install day on the 29th, I could possibly drive up to Davids and drop it off. Our house is getting listed on the 27th, and the realtor wants to do an open house possibly that weekend, so if it is on Saturday, I'll have to leave anyway.

It definitely looks like it was in a liquid state when it got on there, from the splatter. Almost looks like fresh asphalt, but I would think if you drove through that, you would see it at all 4 corners.

I saw that when Ryan stopped by. Its definitely not mud, and its only on that side. The other side is clean. I dont know what it could be.

One or two things modded... Check out the build thread
So it's thrown out wondering who is modding this weekend and I say I am and then everyone drops the subject.... starting to get the feeling I am not to be included in questions like that. Or that noone is interested in joining.

It's ok. I understand either way. Just means the surround sound will be up even louder.

Is it behind the front tire too? In the wheel wells?

It seems to me more like a greasy soot.

Something bad, I would assume :notsure:
I would clean it off as best you can, and check after every drive to see if more has accumulated. If the tailpipe just had soot, that doesnt sound bad. If it felt wet, it could be that the truck still had condensation in the tailpipe, or it could be something else.

If by "mod day" you mean packing up stuff into boxes, that's my weekend.

My gut tells me it is just condensation mixed with soot... Hopefully that is the case. The truck runs great and there are no other signs of something catastrophic.

Thats a good thing if there are no signs, losing oil, smoke on heavy acceleration, etc. If you have a short commute, it could be that the condensation didnt have time to evaporate out all the way, and thats what you are feeling. Its just weird that it would only be behind the one tire.

I'm sorry to hear that. But at the same point moving can be exciting.

Thanks. Sucky situation, but shit happens, and gotta move on I suppose.
Must be nice haha. I have about 25 minutes in the morning, and in the afternoon it could be anywhere from 30 min to almost an hour depending on traffic. Round trip is almost 50 miles.

Huh, must be nice. My morning commute is an hour 15 and afternoon ranges between 1.5 and 3 hrs. But that's just because I'm rarely leaving from the office in the afternoon.

I desperately need to mod but my sister is in town this weekend, so this weekend won't work.

Most weeks I put 500 miles on my truck. It's those times that I am thankful for the 4 cyl and it's 22+ MPGs on the highway.
