I am in love with my MTRs...damn good tire. One reason I didn't get the KM2 is the fact the side wall is so vulnerable...

depends on the size wheel you have.. AND, ive torn both while off roading. MTR's in 305 and 315.. BFG's in both those sizes and in a 37. if you're gonna tear a tire, youre gonna tear a tire. the toughest tires I have ever run were Interco's on a 16 inch wheel. the damn sidewall on those was almost a solid inch thick... the problem I had with those was balancing.. I try to always balance my own, and the worse tire I had in the interco had over 26 ounces on it... rim weghts, stick ons AND BB's inside the tire...

get a tire that will fit the needs of the type of wheeling you do. MTR's do not clear mud like the BFG's the BFG's are marginally less tough than an MTR.. the Duratracs are bad ass awesome in snow, but clog up like a drain full of tampons in real mud.

    I run BFG KM2s because:
    1. they came in a tire size I wanted
    2. they fit the bill for the overlanding type wheeling I enjoy with the family
    3. they were the right price
    4. they're pretty light for what they are.

I was just saying the differences, basically a long winded version of "get the tire that works for your application" not trashing any tires. IMO mtr's suck in any size less than a 35 or equivalent metric. Until you get past 35, they don't clean mud worth a darn.

I think duratracs are an awesome tire, ad if I could afford them, I'd have a set for winter road tires.. Studs are just too much fun :)

I've never run the dick Cepeks, theyre a neat looking tire though.

Nitto terra grapplers are an awesome all terrain in my uses at least.

Baja claws wheel "ok" but wear fast.

Interco trxus is awesome off road, so-so on road

I've had quite a few off road rigs, and run a bunch of different tires, was just stating my opinion.

I plan on being at hard times in FFX city tween 1800 and 1830. Will try and park out back and away from people so we can try to park together. Just look for the little OR taco with a winch if you don't know my truck. I'll be the heavily tattooed Asian guy.

ya. i got a text this morning tellin me not to come in to work today so i got it all back on and aligned this afternoon. I had a hell of a time gettin my LCA's connected. Never had that much trouble before. I even checked to see if i used the wrong bolts on top of the coilovers
