    Yes there are various campgrounds, I've only used the one at the Little Fort Campground at the north end of the trailhead, they're pretty good

    Shouldn't scratch anything unless you have to go towards the shoulder of the trail road for some reason..if you do, just remember...it's a truck...

    What would I need to do to the truck for one of these off road adventures? I'm not ready to by skid plates and sliders.but what are the easy to do mods?

    Rear diff breather would be good if it rained around the time you went on the trail, don't really need anything else

    find some 3rd gen TRD Off Road suspension (usually about $100 on Craigslist) and a rear add a leaf for $45..... that'll give you a solid 1.5" lift all around..... we can knock that shit out in like 2-3 hours....

    other than that.... if you get stuck.... a lot of us have winches.... so youre good!
