    It is a little over a 1000 mile return trip for us. And towing is a little slower that would be otherwise. By the time we break camp sunday morning and get all loaded up, it'll be mid morning.

    I'm thinking we wont be able to do any trail running on sunday. :(

    i recommend it...did it a couple years back and had a good time...just make sure you have a map of the trail..i didn't and got lost, then stuck in 3 feet of sand (first time i got to use my winch!)

    it has a couple obstacles to keep you busy...some ledges, a mini crack and some fun slick rock (tippy dome and the butte area in general was fun as hell)

    heard mixed reviewed on steel bender and metal masher...and obviously the harder trails >8 wouldn't be fun for our trucks...

    look through traildamage.com and look for ones with high scenery and other activities for easier trails..increase rock crawling and water for the harder trails..

    and keep the trails <20 miles probably...

    but hard to pick a bad one out there..just keep it within your and your truck's limits to keep the experience enjoyable

    I am OK with this. That way we can do Kanes Creek, Elephant Hill and Hells Revenge later in the week with some of the guys who have more experience on those trails.

    What about doing some of this trail on Tuesday. The way NYCO described it, I would really like to see and photograph some of the vistas on this trail. Plus it might be a good one for us that are not into the really difficult shit.
