    Though not the worst part of the bj replacement job, it is still a bit of a challenge. The 3 arm puller will work but is kinda tricky to get it to grip the rounded edges of the UCA. One of the 3 arms to the inside (motor side) and 2 to the outside (on either side of the bj).

    Another set of hands will be helpful until it catches. When it lets go and pops out, it is like a gunshot going off in your ear. :eek:

    I'm scared lol. When I put it back in how do I know its tight enough?
    What types of things keep getting added? I wanna make sure im bringing everything. I'm really curious to see how full the bed gets with gear for a week for 2 people. It'll be like a cool tetris game...and where to hide all of the applejuice...........

    I've had my tools and parts loaded up for about a week now. just need to throw the food and the clothes in and I'm good to go. oh yea i still need to get some gas cans but that's it. I'm not going to worry about the rock lights yet.

    Mark If you're just replacing the boots you don't have to pull the BJ out. just the ring clip that holds it in the joint. and the Tq spec is TAF aka TIGHT AS FUCK. should be in the neighborhood of 85ft/lbs

    Yeah, all the tools and spares have bee loaded for over a week. Its the daily living shit that I don't want to forget that I am messing with now. How many pairs of undies and socks do I really need type of stuff.

    That sounds about right. Same as wheel lugs.

    IIRC the camburg unibal spec was 85 ft lbs too.
