Keep saying I wanna go but then realizing I'm not for loading my truck down with all this extra hardware of overlanding. Takes away from the core of the tacoma . Also wanna note that wow people are selling many racks and bumpers and overlanding gear in general on FB marketplace. People must be realizing it wasn't what they expected. I love the concept of overlanding gear for sure , but man look how much more money you gotta dump into the Tacoma to get it to go down the road efficiently.

I totally agree! It seems like a great adventure, and all the youtube videos sure do sell it well. I mean, toss a ground tent and the rest of whatever camping gear you might need under a roll top bed cover to keep it relatively dust free, and you’re good to go.

Just going to bump this so it's back in everyone's mind if they were considering going. I'm considering it, I wanna go and Mikey wants to go but he can't miss any more school this year.

may do that, may also bring the trailer Thursday and have the wife tote the kids over on Friday. She is looking at the event schedule and seeing if she is interested enough in coming over.

Camp spots are 20’x20’. People do bring their huge military vehicle builds not sure if they pay a flat fee or buy like 4 spots. It’s a massive probably 60 acre field so it’s not like they couldn’t fit you somewhere. Over in the quiet zone there isn’t a lot of people. You could throw down some lawn chairs in our camp and sleep over in the quiet zone which would be the best of both worlds. It’s a party till the wee hours for some people in the non quiet zone. Not yelling and screaming music loud just talking and laughing. Quite zone is basically library rules 24/7

I am too. Put a new A/C compressor in last night so no more trail runs with the windows down:rofl:I’m hoping it entices my wife to tag along.
