I'd keep CB and add the other. On runs we don't need range and most people have CB. Having to relay messages from one system to the other kinda gets old lol

I was looking at the CMX but also havent seen any good reviews yet. I've done some rough measuring and have taken all the center console apart so I'm fairly confident I could make something fit. Mainly I was looking to get rid of the charging pad and make some extra cash since I never use it.

I do like the idea of the handhelds as well as something other than CB for better clarity and more uses outside the rig. I currently am running a Cobra 29lx on the passengers side opposite of where my short gat is located but wanted a better setup.

ISO: low mileage 05-07 V6 4x4 part out. Specifically the 5spd auto trans A750F. This transmission came in various vehicles over the last 10yrs. 2uzfe 4.7L tundras, 2003+ 4runners, and certain FJ cruisers and of course 05-15 tacomas.

Well after some sleuthing, I'm being told my available options are narrowed down to tacos 05-07 4x4 autos. Not sure why as they're all the same fricken transmission. Must be something to do with ecus? :notsure:

By "specifically the...auto trans" are you just parting out the engine and drive components, or you have other parts......... like the bed cubby doors?
1.) An old roommates dog chewed the corner of the smaller cubby
    and
2.) The dog chewed one of my screwdrivers

Needless to say we aren't roommates anymore and I don't talk to her.... it was much more than just the dog issues lol :annoyed:

Like the look, slightly cheaper tires, slightly more sidewall and I had wanted 16s but settled on 17s due to them being $160 off and in stock at the time
