Holy shit it does fit on your trailer. Thought it would be wider than your taco

It is. Taco was 84" this is 86" track width. Thank god I got drive over fenders so the deck is a full 102" all the way around, normal flat bed decks are only as wide as the width between the wheel wells

Progress is going pretty well. They had a problem with their plasma cutter so set back a little
    IMG_8530-1.jpg

Rear is done besides limit straps and bump stops
IMG_8528-1.jpg Axle truss was advertised for an FJ80 but really is for a mini truck so slight modification to make it fit well..IMG_8527-1.jpg
And the last bit to cut off
    IMG_8526-1.jpg

So not only do 80's have fully boxed frames they are also double walled on the outer wall! Did not know that

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but what's the reason for the rocker panel cut? More clearance?

    Workin' on it....
Are you going for a weld on -- almost integrated slider -- by chopping that much off the rocker?

Much more clearance under the door. I probably gained about 5". This way the rock slider can be mounted higher and won't get hung up on as many rocks.

Yup. It'll be 2x4 square main tub that'll sit right up under the body with normal 1.75" DOM outer tube
