    The jury is still out. But, they're good in the deep stuff. I don't really have to drive the 4Runner since I have a work truck, so I'm probably leaving them on until I get back from Florida.

    science says. Snow tires are designed to pack it in between the treads and use the different services extraction. Mt tires are designed to sling everything out at high speed.

    That being said, air down a bit and have a light foot on the throttle and because MTs have huge contact patches you should be just fine. And like you said, you can have a hell of a lot of fun if you pay attention. When in doubt... Throttle out. Lol
