I was expecting them to be bad. They're pretty fun in the fresh stuff. But, I expect to have less fun on packed snow and ice.

At this point I'm at 35 all around based on the size and load rating VS stock. It would be quite tempting to drop them down and go blasting through some fresh stuff, though!

Around here we were supposed to freezing rain overnight and then switch over to snow. Got up and not a cloud in the sky. Cloudy now. The crap will probably start when I'm going to work this afternoon.

    Thank you!

We're in shrimp country on Pine Island. Some of the restaurants get shrimp delivered daily, so it's super fresh! Also, you can find flounder, grouper, tripletail, mullet, and other fish you rarely get in Wisconsin. So, I won't be eating a lot of burgers down there! :hungry:

There were redfish in the canal last year. It was the best canal fishing I've experienced so far. We caught hardhead and sail cats, mangrove snapper, sheepshead, jack, redfish, snook, and black drum right from the dock. The black drum were the best part as they were up to 10#, and strong!

    Can't wait!!

Woo! That's nasty! It's pretty cold here, too! Unfortunately for me, I have to get the 4runner loaded up for my trip today, as I won't have time the rest of the week due to work. Brrrr!!

Just looked at the weather and now it looks like we might be driving through snow most of Thursday. That could really suck, especially after this cold snap.

Right but as you're passing through here it'll be 17 degree snow, not -12 degree snow. Much more better :D

I'm not worried about the cold. I was happy when I thought it would be cold and dry.

What I AM worried about is having to drive through snow for several hundred miles. I have a long drive, and prefer to go 80 MPH most of the time. If I have to go 50, or even slower, due to snow it's going to add time. Plus, after this cold snap, the ground will be frozen and it's likely to be icy. That will suck even more.

Right but you said your tires are between 33 and 36 in for Rubber. That's a big difference dude. One involves some minor trimming and maybe a little suspension work, the other involves massive amounts of suspension work and trimming.

You can do anything if you use enough wheel spacers

You're already regeared, correct? 36" would look huge on a taco!

So far, I'm pretty happy with these 295's. I think any bigger would make me want gears.

Looking forward to seeing the finished product!
