I’ll survive. I’ve dealt with far worse than a couple tiny but protected birds. Lol

9mm. Also has a G23. Love that. If I could do it again I’d get G43 or G19.

No. Most of that section is now closed, so it's just driving through some sand. I was going to skip it.

Do you mean Sleeter road? Nothing exciting, really. The best areas are north of 64.

That's not part if the trail, though. It's just a park and ride in the middle of nowhere. But, it's close to the trail

We can go through that section if everyone wants to. It's just an area that I usually skip.

Most of the sections that are open are short dead ends, so I usually spend more time at the north end by Buck's Ranch road. There are some other roads north of the trail that are fun, too.

That's the area that's mostly closed. There were fences around the areas with the holes. We only could run the sandy section starting at Sleeter road and had to switch to the graded gravel road once we got to where the holes are mostly. There were a few wet areas you could drive in, but they didn't look appealing in July.

I can't wait to actually put it to good use. Not much for trails in Dane County. I need to get out more!

That's what I like about the Pipeline! There's usually and easy way around the more challenging spots. It's nice to build up to things. This year I have tried to take the hard route as much as possible. I still haven't climbed the rock hill, though.

I want to go up the rock hill. I just need a good spotter.

The big rock is on Butler's rock road. A section of the Pipeline runs nearby, but it's been closed this year. Butler's rock road was underwater for awhile in June. It was fun driving through there!
