    Ordered Total Chaos spindle gussets w/ sway bar mount today. Having Cali Fab weld them on for $100, figured its worth the extra cost and just easier since I can swap spindles and not need Dakota to weld them. One less thing to order with LT, which should be ordered at the end of July :woot:

    The gussets with sway bar mounts are beefier and stronger I guess. Not going to run a sway bar (don't think you even can with LT..) though

    Yeah it wasn't bad at all. The part that was most difficult was getting the spindles off, that took the longest. But actually welding the gussets on was easy. Learning how to weld is great. Take $500-$600 and go buy yourself a small welder to practice with!

    Lol you weld every day with a nice ass welder! I just hated how long it was waiting for them to cool and stuff. Plus welding steel to cast iron is a little more difficult

    Hahahaha. I completely understand! It was a bit annoying getting the spindles off, waiting for everything to cool down, painting it and having to make sure paint didn't get in certain spots. And yes welding mild steel to cast iron is a bit more difficult. It was a little tedious but I guess it was one of the easier parts for me since all I can remember is how much I hated building the extended axles!
