Camburg kit? Why I ask is they are mostly Camburg at SDHQ. You can get TC there, but Ive seen more Camburg trucks roll out of there.

Camburg kits won't fit on our trails up here. +2 is pushing it on some trails.

Yea, I wanst sure when I saw SDHQ. They push a lot if Icon and Camburg but still sell just about everything else. Jason, Cliff, Ryan and Serena are all really nice people. Its a fun place to visit and take a tour of.

For sure, would love to take a tundra down to them and see what they would come up with.

Yea, the owner Ryans blue single cab is like a tonka truck. They shortened the bed quite a bit.

If youre going to do it, might as well go 3.5

That's what Cliff says too, but then I need fiberglass and a new front bumper. And if I do that then I can go fast and jump my truck which means full cage, race seats etc.. It just leads to so much more.

Cliff said he's at 86" wide, I'm currently at 75".. Trust me I'd love the extra travel but I just don't think it's worth an extra 3" in width.

That new 3.5 race kit is gorgeous! Can they get them or can you get a deal on the previous version?

I spoke with Pat from TC for over an hour at the expo. They sell out quickly.

If I went 3.5" I'd wait for it to come out, he said at the end of August.

    Smart move to wait.

I know @AaronArf loves that +2 kit. I can see this being a tough decision. I know trails are tight there, but that 3.5 may be the ticket.

I was thinking last night I could go with the 2" fiberglass like @NateMob and then not need a new bumper.. I messaged Monte last night since he knows the trails here and has a 3.5".. Granted first gen but still.

You could do the same stuff with a +2..it's all state of mind. I just don't think for the effort a +2 is worth it imo
His lt is basically as wide as a stock 2nd gen. So it's not comparable nor would it be of any help in deciding.

1st gens are only 4" narrower so it would help some. +2 yields 11.5" of travel, +3.5" yields 13" of travel.. So it's only 1.5" more and I'd have to get fiberglass

I want the most travel but not sure 1.5" of travel is worth glass and 3" wider

Brian and I have been talking about this a bunch the last few weeks and this is pretty much the message I keep trying to convince him of haha. The extra 3" of track width isn't going to keep you off any trails and the gained wheel travel per corner is well worth having to run fiberglass. The +2 kits in my opinion aren't worth the expense (this is coming from someone who had a +2 kit for awhile).

    BTW Hi Brian

Keep in mind too, I'm only 86" wide because of the wheels I run with a 3.5" BS -38mm Offset.

Edit: Crazy old picture of my truck with 4" glass and an All Pro OEM width front bumper

Hi cliff! Haha hmmm I know you guys are right.. Completely forgot you had massive offset on your wheels. It's only 1.5" wider per corner and that would be the same width as if I SAS. So maybe it's not as bad as I'm thinking
