You couldnt fit a 31m anyways, and even if you could forget having the stock tie down holding a 70lb battery in place. Buy the 31m for your second battery when you get around to it

Oh okay. Yeah I don't want something that heavy up there. Ill relocate the batteries at some point, probably when I do a dual battery.

Yeah its why I opted to go back to the 27 up front and move the 31 elsewhere, its twice if not more in weight compared to the stock battery. I don't think ill ever move the stock battery though unless I really tub out the front in the future and just don't have the room for it anymore in the engine bay

Yeah 31m goes in the pelfrey battery tray. But 31m is a marine battery with almost double the CCA of the stock 27F style. Unless you get a agm 27f

    Are floor mats a mod?
Carbon foam group 27. Better than LIo. Bout $625, but lasts 50,000 cycles, no memory, fantasy fast charging times, ridiculous reserve power.
Having said that, I went absorbed glass mat grp 27 for about $140.

I had the X2Power from batteries plus in the 4Runner. It was a monster. Before shelling out $100 more for a big name, it may be worth looking into. They're VERY well reviewed with many folks saying they're the same as the big name brands.

I got the 24F and it "fit" in the factory location. I found a 10% off coupon on-line and a $20 rebate. All said and done it was ~$265 after tax. 60mo warranty and from what I have heard, it's a pretty "no questions asked" style warranty.

    Here's the exact one I got: https://www.batteriesplus.com/productdetails/sli24fagmdp

I really liked that if I needed to warranty it I could drive to any BatteriesPlus and they would likely have it in stock.
