I know im so stoked!! Going to put it on the truck tomorrow and see if I need cross bars or just mount it straight to the rails on the canopy. The mattress is so comfortable!

Nice man! Congrats on that. It's so awesome having an RTT. Makes adventures that much easier and makes you truck that much more awesome! Happy Thanksgiving by the way.

Nice truck! A lot of functional mods; right up my alley. Keep using it for what it was made for.

Finally figured out what cross bars I can use with my canopy to mount the RTT. Used Thule 450 clamps with thule bars, only thing is the width of the clamps is the exact width of the rails on the RTT so I have to offset the tent unless I figure out something else.. Oh well going to see if I can get it up today :D

No you don't trust me haha You can only get through about 8-10 inches and then it just gums up your tread and get stuck, this was the wet heavy snow. I was stuck and the back end slid out of the tracks into the 2.5 feet of snow on the sides, took 3 people and about half hour to get me out. It was about as deep as my tires are high!

My rig is gone. I sold it last month to some woman who was driving it across the country so now its in North Dakota somewhere.

I'm actually gonna get a 2015 Tacoma in a few weeks so I'm hopping aboard the 2nd Gen club. I'll be in Cali till the spring then I'm driving the truck back to WA

Thanks, it was a combination of mod ideas that I liked from other peoples' rigs... but I think thats what a build is supposed to be.

I'm doing exactly that! Not so much young teenager "knucklehead" mods, and more professional looking. Eventually I think I'll want to get a Cascadia RTT. Those things are sweet.

That's at least a few years down the road though
