I’ve got a 97 Tacoma built with a Camburg LT kit, king coils, king bypass, king air bums in the front and deaver under strings, king bypass shocks in the rear. Haven’t tuned the bypass shocks yet but where should I start? Having an obvious nose diving issue when I get airborne.

Floor it. Angular momentum will fix this.

The front end is heavy. Pretty difficult to make it fly nose up...

The fault in your logic is believing turd gens can launch.

Did not work out the best for them, but they did.
Got give them credit, I wouldn’t do it.

I mean... What did they think was going to happen sending a truck 1500lbs + over it's GVWR.

Realistically you gotta move more weight to the rear to balance it out

When you hit the ramp or jump, the rate of compression on the front shocks versus the back, and the rebound setting will affect how the truck takes flight.

If the dynamics of a truck are similar to a mountain bike (I’ve never launched my truck) I’ll suggest this: You want stiffer suspension up front, with a slower rebound in the rear, so it doesn’t cause the truck to rotate. The rear end recovering before you leave the jump will cause you to pitch downward, hence the delayed rebound. You also need enough travel, or enough progressive response, in the rear that you don’t hit the bump stops, and pitch the nose down.

    nice set up

weigh Ur truck then U see SEE an obvious weight distribution

given enuf speed distance its NOSE Heavy !!

some of the race trucks move radiators....oil coolers maybe the spare also

they get a lot o air on purpose

yet they dont want to face plant dig in the front

    Yes
Us 3rd gen guys don’t really know much about launching....better off bringing to 1st or even 2nd gen forum. Asking a 3rd gen owner on launch issues is like a limp dick in the bedroom....useless

Gotta put some horizontal stabilizers on that bad boy. You'll have it flying in no time.
