Not a lot of air coming from the AC dashboard vents?

I've begun to notice that even on the highest setting, I don't get a lot of air coming out of the vents. When I turn the heater on in the morning and turn the fan to high, I can hear the fan changing speeds but I can only feel the air if I put my hand up to the vent. Airflow seems to be weak coming from both the dash vents as well as the floor vents. I actually can't really feel anything down by my feet. The cabin still heats up, but comparing my 2nd gen to my 1st gen, it's a night and day difference in air speed. Changing zones has a minimal effect, still not nearly as strong as I would expect.

I know it's hard to judge whether or not something is wrong over the internet, but I am wondering if it's something I need to look into and fix, or if my expectations aren't correct. The blower motor and cabin air filter were replaced last summer.

Check the cabin filter again and make sure it doesnt have more crap in it. Make sure you got a full 12 volts available at the blower motor connector

Does the air flow change when you change the Mode (where the air is coming out) between the different settings. If the mode servo is dead it will not change and will be stuck where it is.

I have the same issue on 2014 Tacoma. Took as much apart as I could with no noticeable blockage. The actuators appear to be working appropriately. Even with cabin air filter removed, the airflow out of vents is so weak. ( very unscientific assessment), but amount of air coming out of vents is disproportionate to the amount blower sounds like it is blowing…

Amateur mistake… I recently changed blower plug (previous plug shorted out). The aftermarket plug came with a red and brown wire. Truck has white and black wire. I originally connected red to black wire and brown to white. Apparently this is backwards. So this reversed motor. Now everything working as supposed to.
