Welcome from Indiana! Bought a 2008 5 lug Extended cab w/4 cycl. Love the extended cab, but there are times when I wish I had a Double cab. More leg room for passengers. 5 lug limits you on some lift options. Great gas milage on the 4 cycl, but it is a bit underpowered and will drive you crazy down shifting on the Interstate if its not flat land.
These are just things that I wish I had known when I bought mine otherwise Tacoma is the best on the market.
