Not even 2 days old yet!

Had to retire my 2005 4runner sport, it had 192,000 miles, brakes made a grinding sound, CAT needed replaced along with probably all O2 sensors, rough idle, steering wheel radio controls somehow got reversed, either my tension pulley or one of the idle pulleys squeak, oil was coming from somewhere and was all over the bottom of the engine (but never left a drop on the ground) and one of marker lights were broken. I know all of this could be fixed but I was ready to move on. I can say the engine still ran like a scolded dog, the transmission still shifted fine and the transfer case worked every time. It will make someone a great truck that is ready to do the work, but that wasn't me. To justify getting rid of what was still a good 4buggy with a little work, I splurged and got a 2016 Tacoma TRD offroad with my personal favorite color of them all, quicksand. I look forward to learning and reading about everyone's Tacoma.

Between Lynchburg and Lexington nestled in Blue Ridge Mountains, only 5 minutes form the blue ridge parkway and appalachian trail.

 

That certainly is a beautiful area. There are plenty of us Virginians on the boards here. Check out the South East section of the forum.
