    I was under the impression that you can't really "order" a Toyota from the factory like you can with a GM or Ford vehicle because Toyota produces a set number of combinations, and any accessories are added at the distribution center (or the port back when they came from Japan).

    Not sure about his truck, but with mine they "ordered" it by changing an already allocated truck to the specs I requested a couple weeks prior to the build date.
