    I bet power washing your suspension and under carriage Once in awhile would have prevented this.

    And maybe some acrylic paint to keep the rust under control. I do that on my rock slider when I scratch them up.

    This is not related to dust, dirt, rust, etc. This was a structural failure or metal fatigue, cheap metal composition, typical Chinese metal products..

    Who makes American coil overs with quality steel? Serious question for when I am shopping for lifts. Which may be in about 42K miles evidently!!

    While rust can play a part, looking at the rest of your truck I would say this is not a rust issue. Your frame looks un-treated, but has very little rust on it. Sure there is a fair amount of mud and grime in there, but it shouldnt of broken the coils.

    Im going to venture to say this is either a bad spring, or 40k miles of hard use.

    Yes they where installed when the truck is new. So they have exactly 80 thousand kms on them! I take care of my truck it has been raining lots here in bc over this summer Hence there’s some road grime. I figured these springs would have lasted a lot longer then this! That’s just the driver side my passenger side is fine.

    I though Eibachs were typically silver. They are on my ADS and the 650 # set I just bought.

    @Ryan at Eibach ?

    Edit: I suppose it could be a custom color option.
