Nothing lasts very long in the rust belt.

yes but the same coil without the toytec branding has lifetime warranty and i think for coils to physically break so fast is unacceptable. the shock itself isnt actually blown but the "anti corrosion coating" started rusting away within first few months. now they look worse than the 22 year old shocks that were on it from factory. i would take them off to paint but the bolts are seized in the sleeves.

Does any manufacturer warranty against corrosion? If they do. I'd buy the most expensive components they offer, never take it off road, and get new replacement components under warranty every 12 to 18 months.

Garbage certainly doesn’t. Had zero issues with German made shocks/springs/whatever.

dont remember it being called a million mile warranty at the time i looked into it but i guess thats it yes. the corrosion i understand but the small amount of surface rust shouldn't of had a play in them breaking.

    Toyota's are awesome
Hello and good morning gentlemen! Hope all is well during these trying times.

Thank you for posting up here, don't recall you reaching out to me/ our team at all about the issues you are having before posting up here.

Regardless, I should be able to help get things taken care of here. Our warranty is a standard 1 year warranty on product and we do not cover corrosion (as stated in our warranty/ terms & conditions).
The springs are manufactured out of the Eibach facility, requested to our specific spring rate application for the shock valving. -
From the looks of the rest of the undercarriage, it appears you do live in a higher/ corrosive environment which required a little more "attention to detail" when cleaning the vehicle..

If you would like to attempt to figure out the best, most cost effective solution to your issue, please feel free to call me directly at 303-255-4959 ex 103 and I would be more than happy to help walk through what we can do to get this situation handled.

Engineers? I thought they were like a 3 man shop that made a killing copying Cornbred's spacer design?

3 engineers here actually and 24 employees!

Cornbred and Toytec both started around the same time in the early 2000s selling on Ebay, hard to say "who started first" but most definitely didn't copy anyone's design :)
    Thanks though!

Cornbred started in the 90's selling them on TTORA in the delphi days. I always wondered what ever happened to that guy after he got out of the Navy and his other shipmate Jason I think his name was.

Well hope he gets replacement springs.....but he better clean them daily or he will be back here in a year with busted shocks again. I would put something else in personally.
