Update: Doctor said all is good, just some physio therapy for my neck and some Advil and should be right as rain. Thanks for the support everyone :). Insurance thinks it will be a write off based on what I told them but they still need to do a full inspection.

    Hey TW,

Unfortunately by beloved Tacoma is no more.

I was driving when some lady pulled into the intersection as I went through. T-boned her and set off all of the airbags.

I had a green light (she had a stop sign and for some reason just went for it). She is 100% at fault and I also have 2 witnesses who said the same. I of course have her information and the witness information as do the police.

At the moment I feel fine, other than being in shock, though I will probably go in to the hospital to get checked out tomorrow just to make sure everything is in place.

As all of the airbags went off I assume that this will be written off. I'm hoping I can save the tires, sliders, and suspension though. Pro grille didn't survive, nor did the light bar or LED fog pods lol

I didn't check the steel skid, but maybe it can be saved as well.

oh man, I feel for ya.
thanks for posting though. awesome to see the safety tech at work.

on the up side, looks like you'll be Tacoma shopping soon. Is there anything better than that, really?

my (unasked for) advice: get a manual. they are a blast!

Hahaha yeah it's true. I am once again in the market. Hopefully some of the mods can be saved, but if not, oh well. And I used to drive a manual, but it got tiring for my commute hence the auto tranny :p. But I do agree, manual transmissions are a lot of fun

Doesn't look all that bad. Don't be suprised that the truck isn't totaled. Then again, i don't know much from those photos.
