10 tacoma 4x4 SR5 Double Cab

New 2010 SR5 tacoma double cab 4x4. 5 speed auto trans, what are folks doing for towing as far as with out a O/D off button, haul in 4th gear or just hit the road in drive, first time i pulled my trailer when i hit the hills in O/D it kills the speed and drops a gear.
