So as you can see I have a 2" body lift from four wheel crawler, and I had already done a bit of a chop on my mount. The old mount came off pretty easy with a cutoff wheel. If you choose to do this please keep a fire extinguisher handy, someone on TW burned up their tacoma.

I opened up the firewall for two reasons. One was because I wanted to see just what in there, and the other was to gain a little more clearance. The first mount was made and welded together. The final was CNC'ed and bent out of a slightly heavier gauge metal to form one piece. This believe it or not is much heavier than the original.

Heres a view of the right side, then the left with the new version of the mount. Also you can see we used the original mount on the body, and I also drilled and bolted just behind it. The flat steel tied the old cab mount and new together, and then back to the frame mount.

Heres a few pic's with the 385 Toyo's…. I think they are a little bigger than a 38, and are 15.5" wide. Too big but this was just a test fit.

Thats all I got for now. Ive ran this for 3 or so months now with no issues. I took it up in the snow, and really flexed the crap out of it, and everything is still holding strong. In my opinion this is stronger now than before, and it works for me and what I was trying to accomplish. I could have easily ran this set up with the 1" body lift but Im not done yet. :D Not for everyone I know, but just something different for you guys to look at.

Hello gentlemen. My name is Dewayne and I own the shop that built and installed the relocate kit on Haws' Tacoma. I apologize for the severe delay on the availability for this parts kit. There has been a lot of changes in my family over the past year and a half. I have refined and changed the kit from when we did Haws' Tacoma. The kit will be $195 plus sales tax and freight as they are available. The hardware cost kicked up the end price unfortunately. I will try to get payment set up through Paypal. There will be four kits ready to ship later this week. This is a parts kit that will require the installer to be able to install and weld the assembly together properly. The quality of the job is up to the level of ability of the installer. I am merely offering a parts kit to do what I did to a friend's vehicle to get what he wanted accomplished. The material that is being added to the vehicle is twice the thickness of what was taken off. With that being said, if you have any concern about compromising the structural integrity of your vehicle in any way you should leave it stock and on the black top. If you are considering this kit, you are already committed to a lot of modifications that have affected the factory engineering of your rig. I only want to sell these to people who can exercise common sense and that understand that they are solely responsible for their own decisions. There will be a waiver that will need to be signed and returned before they will ship. I really hate to have to do that, but there are those kinds of people out there. Feel free to shoot me a message if you want to claim one that is ready to go later this week. I also have a unique front bumper that is close to being done that will enclose a Warn powerplant winch without hanging 2 feet off the front. I will gets pics up as soon as it gets coated. Thanks for the interest.
