Not just a body mount chop, but relocated!!

Did the standard cab mount chop, the pushed the axle forward a touch with the SAC. No need anymore

 

1st thing my buddies said when they were helping me with my CMC in their shop was "it would be so simple to move this fuckin body mount"........

Yup, it's a pretty straightforward install. It moves the stock rubber mount back 4-5 inches and a little closer to the framerail. It utilizes (2) 1/2" grade 8 carriage bolts on each side attaching the intermediate plate that bolts to the floor. Another 1/2" grade 8 bolt goes through the end of that plate down through the rubber mount. I have seen that a lot of people have been cutting a large chunk of their mounts off and still having clearance issues as well as a great source for ruining tires.

Any word on this, I have a set of 35's waiting to go on and would love the option to run 37's in the future.

This is a brilliant idea and mod for even those running 35s on small lifts.
My only concern for guys that actually wheel their trucks hard would be those damn bearing on 37s. AS it is with 35s I'm preparing to have a ready to drop in pressed hub to do a field install if needed.
