OK, I have research this thoroughly on this website. I see the same things in just about every thread, "Man, they won't spray composite beds," "If they do it there won't be a warranty," and "That stuff won't stick to a Tacoma bed."

I called local Line-X dealers and they will spray, just like any other truck bed, and didn't even seem to know where I was coming from when I brought all of this up.

My question is, can someone who has been told this by a Line-X dealer please give me that dealer's contact information? I would like to speak to someone about what problems this may cause, request pictures of failures, etc if there really is someone out there who won't spray a composite bed.

    Thanks!

Also, not looking to be lectured about the price, just buying a mat, etc. Just want contact info of a dealer(s) who refuse to spray composite beds.

This is news to me too. There is NO reason why it wouldn't stick to a composite bed. My liner guy is a Bullet Liner dealer (same as Line-X) and that shit will stick to ANYTHING. I actually met him because he was spraying wooden speaker enclosures for me. He sprays wood, foam core, cardboard, etc...you name it. That stuff is pretty much indestructible.

Thanks, that is what I thought too. I have sprayed some things myself with the rattle can type, and it seems like it would stick to water.

I see the comments like I said in the OP when I read these threads, but nobody provides much proof. Just something they heard from their brother's wife's neighbor's boss. I don't want to do it if there's a risk of it coming off, but my bed is pretty beat up, so I do want to do it.

Purely my opinion...but I still think there's BIG value in having the bed sprayed.

The spray in bed liners provide EXCELLENT traction for things that are in the bed. A bed matt will do quite well for this but only on the bed bottom. My use has shown over the years that I also need traction on the walls of the bed for when I strap in things like gas cans or coolers. The extra grip will keep those things from sliding around. It also helps keep the bed from wearing through the paint or finish of these things when they get bounced around on the trail.

I agree again. I had my last pickup sprayed (a Dodge) and it was great. The bed mat idea is good, but the crap that would build up underneath it drives me away from that.

With the Line-X, Rhino, whatever, they will fix it too if you mess it up. Great deal in my opinion, even though it's pricey.
